Robust, industrial and full of character. Those were the keywords in the design for this new office in Amsterdam. Revealing the true nature of all used materials was the essence of the plan. The rough concrete columns, naked ceilings with installations, the glasshouse meeting boxes, the steel storage racks, the joined crosscut wooden floor and tribune staircase demonstrate this. The use of color is toned down to the bare essential. By adding a refined and balanced lighting plan, the office transforms itself to a pleasant new office at day and is far from being a standard office in the nightly hours.
